So it was right after I finished Product Launch Formula 2.0 and I was bubbling with energy! I wanted to share PLF with the world to help ground myself a bit from such a powerful course. I kept thinking, “What should I do…what should I do…?” I couldn’t apply PLF to my construction business, I didn’t want to anyway…I didn’t have a niche to use it with right away…I didn’t have any “niche” buddies…Hmmm? What to do?

Why not teach a class about Product Launches?!

My Personal Strategies to Build Authority as a Product Launch Manager Part 3: Actively Answer People’s Questions About Launches

This is a debate I always have with my business partner, Nido. He’s always telling me, “Jeff. Don’t answer your emails right away. Don’t answer your phone either. Make people wait a bit…It makes you seem busier and therefore more important.” Now, Nido does have a point and that works under some situations. For example, I think it was Dan Kennedy that would wait 2 days before getting back to a customer after they paid for a $60 coaching program. He would leave the person thinking, “Oh my god. I just paid $60K and this guy hasn’t even got back to me? What the fu*k? What’s goin’ on? He should have got back to me…Should I call’em? Shit?!”

Sure, in this case the “no call back” strategy works real nice. It leverages off the buyers own insecurity and mixes it with curiosity to produce anxiety. Here’s a snappy formula I just came up with:

Product Launch Manager MAGIC: Watch How Death & Change Can Amp UP Your Interaction and Dialogue the Ozomatli Way with “Dos Cosas Ciertas”

Here’s another awesome example of how the power of music can wrap its tentacles around a listener’s head and get’em all fired up. I’ve written before on how music interacts an creates and inner dialogue with its listeners and have been hooked since. The elegance behind a song is the way it incorporates music and mixes it with short, imagery driven lyrics to embed itself in our memory and consciousness. The first song that did this to me was a scene right out “The Matrix” when Keenu Reeves is sittin’ in that chair and being downloaded all his martial arts training. I happened to be sitting at my table eating when Jorge Ben Jor downloaded an entire culture into my brain. It was amazing!

This time, my buddies at Ozomatli gave me a similar “Matrix” moment while this song was playing in the background while I was driving to Harvard Square in my grey Toyota Corolla…

This is an email by the Internet Marketing Center that caught my attention. It’s very indicative of the main theme of most of their emails. They are very much into the “done for you” model and attempt to lure their readers into buying their stuff because of it.

They constantly use the idea of “their team” supporting you to build your Internet Business. That immediately takes off the burden of you doing it yourself and compels you to listen to what they are saying. They add to the appeal by using the power behind the word “miracle.”

Check out how they craft this email all the way from the headline to the call of action.
