What Frank Kern Taught me about Profanity: Marketing & Swearing Do Actually Mix Better then You Think

Who else out there has a tendency to swear? Do you swear when you’re angry and upset? When something pisses you off?

What about when you get really passionate and fired up about something? Do you swear when you just landed a new job from excitement?

I do.

Product Launch Manager TIP: Learn how Tony Robbins Taps Directly into his Customer’s Obsession for Wealth, Power, Genius and Omnipotence with his “The New Money Masters”

Folks. I get real excited about this stuff. When I stumble across a nugget of Gold or a $100 dollar bill in the middle of the sidewalk, the first thing I want to do is share it with whoever is next to me.

Well, I happened to come across a nice, fresh and crispy $100 bill as I left a meeting with a fellow Product Launch Manager this morning.

You see, my colleague had told me how Tony Robbins had changed his life. He told me that he was a great source of inspiration and really gets people fired up and motivated. My friend told me, “Tony is the type of guy that lights a firecracker under your ass. If that don’t work, he’ll kick your ass until you get into gear!”

I thought that summed Tony up in a nutshell quite nicely.

Let me share with you what I got all excited about once I saw the title to Tony Robbin’s DVD: “The New Money Masters…”

The Journey of a Product Launch Manager: Who Else was the Quiet Kid in Class? I Used to Be Until this Man Entered My Life

That blurry guy in the picture?

Yeah, you know him. I know him. I’ve actually written over 60 articles inspired by his Product Launch Formula and evaluating every launch step he makes.

I do have to admit though…

I was a little nervous when I approached him to introduce myself. I remember thinking that “This is kind of nuts” as I got up from my chair at the InfoSummit and walked towards him.

By the time I got to him, there was a group of about 6 people around him asking for pictures, questions and comments. I just folded my hands behind my back and waited until it was my turn…

Who Else Has Got Sucked Into Deal KILLER #4 and Took a Job for NO $Money$ Upfront?

Here’s a lesson from the street:

I received an email yesterday from Tom (that’s not his real name) stating that he was negotiating his second launch with a new client.

I could tell from his email that Tom sounded a little troubled and frustrated. This is what he wrote:

“I got my second launch client earlier this week and accepted his project by email (no official contract) without an upfront fee. I just watched the video you did with Chris Haddad. And I now know that when I accepted the launch without an upfront fee that, I was operating out of scarcity and a position of demonstrated lower value.

I feel like if I work on this project, it will not end well. I don’t want a repeat of my first client launch.”
