Rick first introduced me to the idea of automating the very complex task of Product Launches right before I left for
Product Launches Have Too Many Working Parts
They’re big. They’re clumsy. They’re complicated. You never really now how they’re gonna turn out. Jeff Walker sells his. His buddy Frank Kern sells yet another. They both cost $1997.00 and half of your life completing them. The time commitment just to finish one can range from
Let me explain.
There are 3 types of Product Launch Groups out there:
1: Professional or “Certified” Product Launch Managers
2: DIY (Do it Yourself) Product Launch Managers
3: Absolute newbies to Product Launches
This is where things get interesting. The “Certified” Product Launch Managers face the problem of streamlining their launch. They know the mechanics behind pullin’ one off but they have to resort to online and offline resources to pull the whole thing together. A Product Launch is a beastly monster like undertaking. You have to put a team together of copywriters, techie people, JV’s, video personnel and orchestrate the whole process. Working with subs can suck. If they’re great, then your launch will be great. If not, you will want to strangle all of them. People don’t meet their deadlines. Your client doesn’t get what’s goin’ on. More last minute changes. More delays. You had to fire your Product Launch co-strategist. The stress is building and you’re trying to keep all the pieces together. See, all your theory is great but you don’t have one place to turn to and get all this shit done. You have to rely on a shitload of people. Well, that’s until now. Rick has taken care of that but before I share let’s take a look at the problems the DIY Product Launch Managers face.
These DIY folks have some theory behind them but most of their Product Launch experience comes from “the street.” They learned through trial and error. They’ve heard of the Product Launch guru’s courses but never had the time or interest to buy one. They think they’re missing somethin’ yet they can’t quite place it. They have their own business and a good relationship with their customers. Notice I said customers and not prospects. They have a product or series of products but haven’t done a formal launch to their list yet. Even if they did, what would they use to organize all the information needed to pull it off? A bunch of notes scattered around their desk. Copy spread out that they’ve swiped from all over the place. Their thoughts and ideas runnin’ around their head. It’s a mess. It’s a pain in the ass keeping track of all the components of their launch. They need a better way to organize themselves. But not no more. That’s where my buddy Rick comes in. Before I tell ya what he’s done, let’s examine the problems that the Product Launch Newbies face.
Let’s say I’m a Product Launch newbie. I’m sick of my day job and wanna do something exciting. I follow internet marketing dudes and can’t wait to jump headfirst into something sexy…something new…something that will rock my world and bank me some serious dinero. Ah, I could buy one of those $1997 courses but I ain’t got the money right now. Even if I did, I don’t have 14 years of my life (I’m exaggerating a bit) to finish it. People have told me it’s boring listening to those guys talk on and on and on and on and on about the theory. I want enough theory to take this idea to market ASAP. I wanna make some cash. I wanna see a return on my investment. “Show me da money!” Okay, I’ll show it to ya but before I do I gotta be honest with ya. You see, as a newbie a Product Launch course ain’t gonna do shit for ya if you don’t have a list of customers, a relationship with ‘em and somethin’ to sell ‘em. That, my friend, is the truth. Now, here’s where it gets sexy: If you wanna learn about Product Launches and not spend a fortune then Rick’s little thing-a-ma-jig has your name written all over it. It ain’t covered in theory. You don’t have to listen to his voice for 1235 hours straight. You can learn about a launch and actually plug some numbers in to see how it works. You can practice playing with things like headlines, copy, psychological triggers, bonuses, USP’s and a bunch of other fun toys real time. Did you hear that? You can play with shit and immediately see how a Product Launch works in a practical way. Now that my friend is fucking awesome.
So what about the sexy talk I promised for the “Certified” and DIY Product Launch Managers?
You folks face similar challenges with Product Launches. The Certified dudes have to sub everything out and don’t have a place to keep track of the launch. The DIY folks don’t have all the theory the nerds (certified dudes) have and don’t have a place to organize their shit either. Well (drum roll please) Rick is kickin’ some ass in both these areas.
He’s put together a Product Launch Software interface that organizes all yoa shit. Did you hear that right?
Remember when you sat down at your desk and started putting together the launch? You had your pencil in your right hand, an espresso in your left and a yellow notepad jottin’ down an outline. You’re sittin’ in your chair thinkin’, “Pre-launch begins here. Email #1 goes here. I have to check my swipe copy for that. The benefits of my client’s product are in my gmail account somewhere. My copywriter hasn’t called me back…”
Yeah. Well you can forget about all that now. Throw it all away. ALL of it. Rick’s freakin’ software will do every last bit of it for ya whether you’re a “Certified” nut job (I mean Product launch manager) or one of those DIY dudes. Take a look at this screen shot:

Does that not read “Yummy for my Tummy” all over it? Hahaha! It should cuz now you can plug in all the numbers and get all this great shit spit out the other end:
1: Your Launch Plan
2: Your Launch Schedule
3: Your Launch Strategy
4: Your Email Sequences
5: Your Launch Blog
6: Your Landing Page
7: Your Sales Letter
8: Your
9: Your own
Ha! You can fire all those slack asses from your Launch team and do it yourself. If you’re a DIY’er, than all those details you didn’t know about a Launch are gonna be answered. Just plug in the numbers. But ya know what? I thought of some other uses of this platform that are even awesomer. “They’re wicked awesome” if you’re from
Check this out:
Say you don’t wanna do a full scale launch. Let’s say that you wanna play around a bit with the numbers and see what you get. Go for it. Take a look at this funnel:

Plug and play baby. It’s that easy. I played around with a possible Yoga Retreat Launch where the average price for the retreat was $2500 per person. I plugged in the size of the list at 5000 clients and that the relationship with that list was “
But I found another use of Rick’s Product Launch software…
How many times have you tried to explain what a Product Launch is to a prospect? What about your business colleagues? Ya know, they don’t fully capture the whole Product Launch concept either. But do you know why? I’ll tell ya why: Product Launches are super intricate and involve a shitload of details. Think back to the last person you were explaining what a launch is all about. How long did it take until their eyes glazed over like a deer in the headlights? A minute? Did you get to 3 minutes before they “left the room?” Well, ya know what. Rick’s frigin’ software makes everything visual. It pumps out graphs (like the one above), reports, sales pages, landing pages, emails and step by step action items to follow. It becomes more textured and 3 dimensional. Just print out the report and take it to your client. Show ‘em the numbers. When a prospect comes to you and says, “Yeah Jeff. I plan on making a smooth $5MM on my first launch. I don’t have a product, a list or a JV to promote for me. I think (if I did have a product) that it would sell for a $1000 bucks each. What do ya think?”
“Okay Billy Ray Bob. Let me show you what I came up with.”
Presto! I went back to the software and in 6 freakin’ minutes I came up with that sales funnel. I could have done it while Billy Ray Bob was on the phone. This is super powerful cuz now I have something to show ‘em. “So Billy Bob: Do you think you can get 909,090 website visitors a month? Is it realistic to make 5000 sales for a product that ain’t even done yet? Hmmm?”
“Ahhhhh. Well. Hey, how did you come up with those numbers so fast? Ummmm. I think we might not be ready for a launch right now,” he says, “But I’ll call ya when we are.”
How ‘bout one more cool use of this platform? One more and I’m done. I promise.
Let’s say that you don’t want to conduct an entire launch. Let’s say that you only need some email sequencing or a landing page for your project. Well, like I said, Rick ain’t no dummy. He planned for all of that and more. You choose what you need and when you want to use it. Just plug in the information and it will spit out those emails you need. It will guide you the entire way. It’s simply amazing how versatile this platform is and how you can use it for non Product Launch events as well.
Okay, I could go on all day about why I love his Product Launch software. However to be fair, I’m gonna cover the limitations that even Rick didn’t think of here.
WinningWare Quick Launch limitations:
1: You can’t make an espresso with Rick’s software. I already tried and it came out all burnt and nasty. The water was too hot and he burnt it like they do at Starbucks. Oh well.
2: You won’t get any direct feedback for your launch. I mean, you’re dealing with a freakin’ piece of software. It won’t talk back to ya. In a team environment, you could ask humans for feedback to keep you on track or get your ass out of a jam.
3: You have to have a product and a list of customers to sell that product to. Like all launches, if you don’t have anyone to sell to then the software isn’t gonna do it for ya.
As you can see, I can’t really find many limitations to this platform. This could be the first time that I couldn’t rip a product apart. Wow. That’s impressive Rick. Nice job.
What You Need to do Next
Don’t believe a frigin’ word I said. Tell me that I’m full of shit. Those are some places to start. Figure out where you’re at in your business to see if a Product Launch is a good option. See if you can use this on a current client if you’re a Certified or DIY Product Launch Manager. If you’re brand spanky new to launches, than check it out. You’ll learn a ton and be able to practice “real time” to figure things out. I mean in the end, the only way you’re gonna find out is if you play with Rick’s software. Don’t take my word for it. I played with it. I liked it. I will use it in the future for a couple of things:1: I can show my prospect’s that they are full of shit and light years away from doing a Launch with all those pretty graphs.
2: I can filter unqualified prospects and clients quickly by running them through his platform.
3: I can save a shitload of time with future launches by having everything in one centralized place.
4: I don’t need to sub out as many parts of the launch. I may just need a techie dude to help with the blog and landing pages but that’s it.
5: Did I mention how much time this is gonna save me? How ‘bout the frustration of trying to organize all this shit?
So there you have it. I hope I got you all hot and bothered about this new platform. I certainly worked myself up. If you can’t wait to play with it as much as I have, than just click on the following link:
Gimme my Product Launch Software
Yes, it’s my affiliate link. Yes, I will be paid by Rick if I sell any of his merchandise. Just for the record: This is the first product I’ve ever been an affiliate for. I mean EVER. That’s how much it impressed me.
Good luck. Save time. Geek out on this shit. It’s awesome.
peace

You did miss one thing a bit... when everyone else in the room is dozing off, I'm usually daydreaming - in between taking notes :)
