Missed your Deadline again, huh? It could be from a client. It could self imposed. I’m willing to bet it was self imposed. If you’re like me, you create these “Hurry Up” self imposed deadlines a lot. As soon as you write the deadline in your agenda, little neurons of stress start firing. You squint and your brow frowns and in the back of your mind you’re thinkin’, “Fucking deadlines suck.”
I hate deadlines too. They only stress the shit out of me.
BUT not anymore.
I found a way to relieve a ton of the self imposed stress that I create around deadlines. It’s so simple you’ll probably laugh. I wouldn’t though cuz you’d be laughing at Michael Masterson from Early to Rise. You see, he was the one that gave me the idea. I simply readapted it to fit my own lifestyle.
Here’s a video breaking it down for ya. I show you my adaptation and then Michaels. If you’re the type of person that absolutely loves crossing things off your task list, then you’re gonna really like this video. There’s something perversely rewarding about grabbing a pencil, intently focusing on the completed task and slowly, from the left to the right, taking that pencil and inching it across the done deed.
Yummy. It makes me wanna grab one as I write…
