Jeff Pezzella

Jeff doesn’t take himself very seriously. He’s known to laugh out loud (at himself) after tripping or stumbling for no reason. He’s also quick to laugh at others when they trip and fall. It’s nothing personal. Jeff just gets a kick out of it!

Jeff is also known for his determination and persistence. He holds really high standards for himself and sticks to them when working with others. You have to be sharp to work with Jeff. He won’t take any bullshit and will call you on your mistakes. It must be the Italian American honesty he inherited generations ago from his grandparents. He never criticizes in an irresponsible way even though it may come out a little rough around the edges at times. He cares a lot and that’s how he shows it.

If I had to explain what exactly Jeff does, I would have a hard time. He’s the type of guy that once he’s fired up about something; he simply won’t stop until he becomes successful. I’ve seen him turn down high paying jobs because he didn’t believe in them. I’ve seen him start new businesses from scratch, with no previous knowledge of the industry, because of his passion to excel and learn new things.

Is he intense? Yeah he is. He doesn’t even realize it though. If you put a strong, intense person right next to him, the results are always 50/50. He’s either going to “click” with the other person or wind up killin’ em (so to speak). It’s always fascinating to see two strong energies side by side. You never really know what you’re gonna get.

I’ve always wondered why Jeff gets overwhelmed when you give him too many options. He hates too many options. You can actually see it physically because he always stiffens his neck and angles his head slightly downward and to the right. That means you should give Jeff a little “space” and “time by himself.” He challenges himself and others by making them get the best they can from what they have right in front of them. Of course, learning new things is important but not when they obstruct you from taking action. Too many options get in Jeff’s way to take action.

Speaking of action, Jeff is the type of person who is constantly taking action. It can be a bit too much for some people. His philosophy is to “fail fast” and get it the hell out of the way for success. I always find wearing a safety harness or seatbelt around Jeff is the best way to work with him. It’s not that he’s out of control. He isn't a “take action for the sake of taking action” type of guy either. No, no. He is always razor-sharp focused towards the goals he sets. That’s why when he takes action he actually gets where he’s going.

Overall, I would work with Jeff. I would need to get my shit together before I called him though. He is intense and is always “on” so if you come to him all wishy washy, he’s gonna run you over like a steam roller. It’s just his way of telling you to get your act together. I know that he will push you to become as successful as possible. He won’t leave you hangin’. He’ll watch your back, guide you along the path you set for yourself and always keep you honest. Just don’t forget about the options thing: Give him just the best ones you got. Otherwise, he will do some spring cleaning that you might not be ready for...
